About

Greetings. I’m Andrew Pulliam, a 2014 MArch graduate from the Portland State University School of Architecture. I’m interested in architecture as the continual search for more thoughtful and evocative ways to accommodate the activities of human life. Architectural research is a continual reconsideration of fundamental issues like room, plan, site, space, and horizon, which seeks to clear away generic conventions to supplant them with more meaningful human gestures.

One of the best parts about an architectural education is its capacity to open people up to the richness of the surrounding world. For me it has heightened my interests in travel, city life, the outdoors, and community engagement (balanced of course by the regular retreat into a good book or piece of music).

My resume can be downloaded here.

My architecture portfolio is available on ISSUU.com here.
