I think my thesis project will fall somewhere in the territory of posthumanism.

It’s so one step beyond postmodernism!  If the “modern project” of rational knowledge and scientific object-determinism is, at its heart, about the supremacy of the human, the human mind, then postmodernism is posthuman.  But what comes after the rejection of the human?  Some re-articulation from the standpoint of “life,” or some more primordial or common basis.  In any case its a fun way to get into arguments with classicists.
